Worldata’s eHygiene services contain the premier array of email data cleansing, enhancement and preparation necessary to ensure the most cost-effective use of data possible. To effectively reach your target audience, we service your email house file with intricate and quantitative data processes to produce a standardized, deliverable file of more accurate and validated addresses. Our eHygiene goes through all of the following data cleansing processes:
Email Syntax Correction – This process starts by identifying the validity of countless character errors in email addresses and isolating potential “spam” addresses. The correction then fixes the characters, usernames, domains and extensions, while removing spam addresses. On average, a file has 1-5% email addresses that are corrected by our email syntax programming.
Domain Verification – This solution determines whether the domain name in the email address is valid and pinpoints a list of any bad domain addresses that are found. Typically, eHygiene detects about 20-30% of invalid addresses in a mailing list, though theoretically it is possible to detect up to 60-70% using our service.
Mailbox Verification – This step checks public email addresses for their existence or non-existence. If an email address no longer exists, it is considered “dead” and is identified. Our service can find about 90% of dead email addresses, and verify 60-70% of legitimate emails.
Our in-house service bureau also maintains hygiene services that cleanse postal house files as well. Our postal hygiene services include:
ZIP Correction –This insures that the address and city are correctly assigned to the proper ZIP Code.
Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) – This service combines address standardization, ZIP+4-correction and append along with carrier route and line of travel coding using address ranges from the USPS. This applies to consumer and business addresses and is updated monthly.
NCOAlink 48 month – We can apply the USPS-complied 48-month move data to your file in order to remove your outdated addresses and replace them with current ones, while standardizing deliverable addresses. NCOAlink is updated weekly to ensure maximum reach on campaigns and NCOAlink footnotes which identify frequently known movers and those that are likely to move.
Locatable Address Correction Service (LACS) – This monthly-updated database allows us to convert all rural format addresses to standard street addresses, based on USPS-verified conversions.
Delivery Sequence File (DSF) – This monthly-updated database contains every domestic deliverable address by the USPS, allowing us to standardize your records to qualify for higher postage discounts. We further flag all addresses unable to be standardized, enabling you to remove bad addresses on your file.
Address Element Correction (AEC) – This correction service checks address for accuracy and deliverability based on USPS standards, correcting all any recognized, non-standardized addresses. |
