Duties:

• Provide desktop application, hardware, printer and network support for all users, including local users as well as users at remote locations
• Follow all established guidelines and policies for performing the help desk function
• Work with Network administrators in troubleshooting and resolving complex Software/ Hardware/ Networking issues
• Provide telephone and/or desk side support for software applications
•  Install, configure and troubleshoot PC, Servers and peripheral Devices; train end users on use of equipment and software application functionality
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
• Support Internet browsers and assist users in accessing desired sites

Job Requirements:

• Must be proficient in desktop hardware installation and upgrades including physical memory, hard drives, motherboards and NICs
• Must understand networking concepts and their relation to the desktop
• Must have prior experience as an IT Helpdesk Analyst with Level 1 support
• Knowledge of MS Office 2003 and 2010, Win XP and Win 7, VPN, IE, network connectivity, printer and drive mapping
• Experience in working in Windows Server 2003 and higher
• Ability to apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions
• A+,Network +, MCSE, MCP, CCNA a Plus
